The nature of a mineral material, chemical durability of bitumen, its quantity in the mix, compacting load, and other factors strongly influence on the durability of asphalt concrete in the aggressive environment of anti-icing materials. The work covers issues of the effect of anti-icing materials on the change in the surface strength of asphalt concrete.
