AbstractAbout AuthorsReferences
Processing and recuperation of waste from mining and concentrating enterprises make a significant contribution to the solution of economic and environmental problems. Studies are aimed at solving the problem of processing of mining flotation waste by introducing them into the concrete in order to increase its strength. Granulometric studies of the filler and flotation waste were carried out. The size of the main fraction of flotation waste particles used is less than 50 µm. The paper presents the results of an experimental study of the strength of concretes with different ratios of initial components and different dispersed composition of the filler, as well as the dependence of the development of strength in concrete with a mineral additive on the time of hardening. Results of the analysis revealed that the concrete with the addition of particles of mining waste has greater strength in comparison with the initial composition. The additive significantly affects the structure of the resulting concrete. In this case, the strength effect is different depending on the dispersion of the filler particles.
