AbstractAbout AuthorsReferences
There are a number of operation features of flexible ties, located in the horizontal mortar joints of the masonry of the 120 mm thick facing layer 120 mm in the external non-bearing walls with floor-by-floor cutting with horizontal deformation seams. In comparison with ties in concrete, it is primarily due to the relatively low strength of the joint mortar and its small thickness. The work of ties in the non-bearing walls with the floor-by-floor cutting is different from the work in the masonry of the bearing and self-supporting walls, since the compression force in the bearing walls is much higher and disintegration of the masonry, when pulling out ties from it, does not occur. In multilayer masonry, unacceptable defor-mations for the conditions of its operation may occur before the exhaustion of the bearing capacity of the tie to the tear-out. Before the exhaustion of the bearing capacity of the tie to the tear-out, the destruction of the thin facing layer along the horizontal mortar joint when bending out from the plane may occur. The peculiarity of the work of ties in the form of grids made of polymer composite materials is the unevenness of the inclusion of individual rods of grids in the work, which is also expected to take into account with the coefficient of working conditions, less than one.
