AbstractAbout AuthorsReferences
The experience in the construction and technical operation under the harsh climatic conditions of Siberia of the modern and high-tech type of roofing with the use of PVC membrane, which is an innovative water-proof roofing material produced on the basis of polyvinylchloride (PVC), is considered. Methods for producing roofing covers by welding of rolled material with special equipment are also considered. Three methods for laying membrane-carpets on the buildings roofs have been tested. The works on the harmonization of quality indicators of roofing materials with due regard for the results of accelerated climatic tests were carried out. Taking into account the developments of TSNIIpromzdany, it is proposed to accept the etalon ultimate load reflecting possible really acting loads on the roof. Laboratory tests of the samples cut out from their roofing PVC membranes applied when making roofing covers after their operation within five and ten years were executed. The analysis of the test results showing the high operational reliability of PVC membrane roofing under the Siberian conditions is presented. Since 2006, more than 1 million m2 of membrane roofs have been made in various regions of Siberia.
