AbstractAbout AuthorsReferences
This paper presents a comparative analysis of the dynamic behavior of vibration damping materials made of elastomeric, for example, polyurethane foam, and rubber, for example, natural rubber materials. On the basis of load tests conducted, their behavior both under the static load and dynamic load in the range of 5–40 Hz, which is the most characteristic for application to vibration protection problems, is compared. Analyzing the behavior of rubber materials and foamed polyurethane, there are obvious advantages of the latter for using as an elastic-damping element of progressive vibration isolation systems in transport and in industrial and civil construction.
