AbstractAbout AuthorsReferences
The influence of milled wastes of asbestos-cement products and rubber automobile tires on the properties and structure of a cement composition has been studied. The introduction of anthropogenic additives makes it possible to improve physical-mechanical characteristics of the fine concrete as a result of the synergetic impact of joint effect of additives. Rubber crumb was preliminary subjected to mechanical activation together with Portland cement. Waste of asbestos cement products were introduced in the fine concrete after grinding in the disk grinder up to the fraction of 100 μm. Results of the physical-mechanical study of the structure of modified fine concrete conducted with the help of IR-spectral and differential-ther- mal analyses showed the change in the compositions of new formations in the cement matrix as a result of formation of calcium hydro-silicates of different basicity. Modified fine con- crete can be used for production of small piece materials of improved wear resistance and frost resistance used when arranging coverings in sport facilities.
