AbstractAbout AuthorsReferences
The technology of cold regeneration when surfacing municipal roads network is considered. As it is known, the local municipal road network is usually heavily worn due to delays in carrying out the required cycle of repair-maintenance works. When repairing it, it is advisable to use the methods of hot and cold regeneration that makes it possible to maximally use the materials of existing pavements and reduce the material consumption and financial expenses when planning road repairing works. Methods for assessing the real conditions of transport-maintenance and technical indicators of the road structure are presented; requirements for determination of road pavement strength by means of expert assessment are given; minimal thicknesses of strengthening layers are presented; there are nomograms for determining the required modulus of elasticity and the thickness of the regenerated layer of granulate.
