Data on the studies of modification of gypsum composites are presented. Introduction of the waste of basalt fiber manufacturing to the composition of gypsum binder makes it possible to improve the composite structure and its strength characteristics. It is established on the basis of study results that the properties of gypsum composites modified by high-disperse particles of the basalt dust depend both on the granulometric composition of the mixture and water-gypsum ratio.
