Results of the optimization of compositions of silicate concrete of autoclave hardening are presented. The effect of adding metallurgical production waste, converter slag, on the molding properties of the silicate mixture, green strength, as well as on the strength and durability of ready-made brick has been studied. The change in color of silicate materials with time as well as the reduction in surface strength is observed. Methods for strengthening and decorating ready-made products of silicate concrete of autoclave hardening are proposed.
